Report cards and UNEB grading

A report card in Brim is the end of a chain that starts with a teacher and a mark — no double entry, no transcribing.

The flow

  1. Teachers enter marks for their subjects, from their phones — Brim is built so a teacher never needs a computer.
  2. The class teacher reviews and assembles the class.
  3. The Director of Studies approves, applying the grading scale.
  4. Parents read the finished report card in their app.

UNEB and NCDC scales

Brim ships Uganda's grading scales — including the UNEB UCE and UACE scales and the lower-secondary NCDC competency bands — so a mark becomes the right grade automatically. You confirm which scale a class uses; Brim applies it consistently to every report.

Holiday tests reuse the same pipeline

A holiday-package test isn't a separate system — it reuses the same marks → review → approve → report flow, so there is no second place to enter results.
